TEARS AS RAPPER KATALANG LOSES HIS MOTHER TO COVID-19 | CLAIMS HE HAD TWO BIOLOGICAL MOTHERS

Kenyan controversial rapper Lang’ Katalang’ known for the song “Escape From Mathari” has been thrown into a deep mourning after his mother died this week of Covid-19 .The rapper took to social media to reveal his unusual parenting having been born with two biological mums .read his post below ;
“MY HANDS ARE SHAKING BUT I HAVE TO WRITE THIS MAMA
I believe God chooses a path for everyone and mine was that of two biological mums.I did not have a chance to experience much with my mama who gave me light.She left when I was 7, I hardly knew a thing.My two sisters were older though.So we ended up in an unpleasant set up where things became unbearable.And as my second biological mum you had to step in .You were with my mama to the last breath and when mama passed you swore to have us as your responsibility as an elder sister.There was a little family misunderstanding so we were barred from visiting you and neither were we to be seen entering your place through the front gate.
Those who know me or us are aware I was born in Total estate Migori. Knowing very well we were cornered, you crafted a way of communicating to us through certain key persons very secretly.Our school was just few meters from your place (our current place) so in the morning on our way to school you would lock the main gate but wait for us on the lower gate to give us milk and potatoes which kept us full whole day every day.During weekends we would sneak into the main market and you hid us under your stalls where we ate and sneaked back home.
So after form 4 weeks after our father died too, we moved in with you permanently and you became our mother.No one knew a thing except for those who knew our story earlier.I called her mum while she told people she was granny , I think because of the age difference between her and my first biological mum who was a last born in your family.Because of you I lacked nothing.You ate after we had eaten.When there was surplus you would call strangers to come eat coz your food was never thrown away.
Mine and yours was a little different because you were not only a mother.You were my business partner and mentor.I would report every morning to you to give you statements of accounts of the previous business day .You explained your financial situation whether good or bad.I took stock and kept your money so safe untill you decided you wanted them.I transacted your MPesa like it was my own.
Even at the point I have become a brand you would scold me for staying out too late .Alcohol was your greatest enemy so I stopped drinking thanks to you.Mum you would sit at the roadside and call us so loudly untill you feel irritated but when we get to you , we find you have bought us clothes or pairs of shoes.Every time pawpaw was ripe you would scold us for not eating them. I supervised your new house from soon after roofing knowing you would get in .The other Friday you call and tell me , “Unafanya nini Nairobi na tunafaa kuhama .And am like “Mum nakam Sunday” .We joked and you finished by saying ” Endelea kukaa uko, naona Nairobi inakubamba”
One unique thing about her was that she had four books. Her receipt book, her stock book, her song book but 24 hours her Luo BIBLE. .Thank you Mum for schooling me through Primary to University .Making you proud is not a choice .”
