While we’re all about that base, and think we know what to do with that big fat butt, (wiggle wiggle) how is the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordanians going to receive it?
We’re talking about Kimmy K’s imminent descent on Jordan — where US citizens have recently been warned off “high-end malls” in the capital. The ‘safe-haven’ Kingdom is taking part in wars on two fronts, with airstrikes targeting the extremist Islamic State (Daesh) group closer to home, and the Arabian coalition Yemen strike further afield.
As the larger-than-life reality TV star makes her way to the Kingdom on Tuesday-ish, 14 April, the celeb rumor-mill is awash with silly surmise, making the soon-to-be-guest the butt of many jokes. Earlier along this high-profile tour, apparently Armenia and Israel were ecstatic about Kim Kardashian’s visit to their respective countries. But in Jordan, while there’s already a bit of a fuss being made over KK’s supposed stop-by this week, the attention she’s stirring is mostly of a hostile nature. The conservative Kingdom may not be embracing her ‘buns’ (hun) in quite the same way as the holy land proper next door took to it.
Kim’s royal visit to Jordan is reportedly a way of “refreshing tourism;” a much needed boost for a place flanked by war-torn countries. At a time when Jordan is occupied with keeping its citizens galvanized with national pride while it wages fresh war campaigns — most embodied by the King’s recent very visible “raise your head” campaign (cause you’re Jordanian) — an enhancement to the tourism end of things cannot be a bad thing.
Although Jordan, straddling the Levant, is considered one of the more liberal countries in the Middle East, many Jordanians weren’t too keen on what they described as a “nudity star” visiting their (still quite staid in comparison to Lebanon) country.
“So we’re celebrating porn stars coming to Jordan now?! Nice..,” one tweep said.
Another tweep noted, “This is a great opportunity for promoting Jordan.”
Kardashian has over 24 million Facebook followers, 31 million Twitter followers and almost 30 million Instagram followers. Her fans would do anything to get a glimpse of her, yet the tweets on the trending hashtag “Kim in Jordan”‘s timeline suggest otherwise!
Many of the more conservative tweeps slammed the controversial starlet’s visit as an insult to their country. Kim, who often poses starkers, was not a favorite for promoting tourism in Jordan. Back in March, Jordanians weren’t in the least bit happy when Egyptian actress Yousra took part in Mother’s Day celebrations with Queen Rania of Jordan. Yousra is known for her provocative and often sexual roles in Egyptian cinema. Jordanians were not comfortable honoring her as “Mother of the Year 2015.”
This is not to say that hundreds more weren’t more than happy to receive the net-breaking bombshell with open arms and with true Arab hospitality! Those tweeps on the other end of the Twitter scale were already giving the lucky Kimmy tips on what to eat (Jordan’s traditional dish Mansaf, of course), where to shop and which sights to visit.
Needless to say, the majority of Jordanian gents had no complaints about the voluptuous socialite’s promised visit. The majority of their comments and memes were indirectly or unsubtly referring to Kim’s famous booty, which they were more than keen on getting a glimpse of!
One tweep even joked that the price of silicone will soar after Kim’s rear end had visited Jordan, with women rushing to get their own bum implants in!
The first-time mom will be accompanied by her husband US rapper Kanye West, their daughter North and her celeb sister Khloe. They have now left neighboring Jerusalem, where baby North was baptized in a 12th Century Armenian church (true to their ethnic roots) on Tuesday, and are on their way to Jordan.
Before landing in Israel, where they’re reportedly purchasing a Tel Aviv apartment, the famous family were in Armenia, where the girls marked the 100th anniversary of their ancestors in the Armenian Genocide.
@arwalouzi tweeted, “Cant wait to see what will happen when Kim comes over lol…” Neither can we, Arwa! займы на карту
