Fans Lashes Out On SARKODIE FOR OFFERING TO PAY CREATIVES WITH ‘EXPOSURE’

Rapper Sarkodie has gone under a flood of feedback from clients of Micro blogging website Twitter for offering to pay creatives with “introduction.”
In a Tweet posted by the ‘Take It Back’ follow up on Tuesday morning, he requested “all cutting edge trendy people and imaginative specialists to be a piece of an African hotshot music video.”
The condition to join the video shoot however does exclude getting paid for the exertion and time: “it is not paying gig (sic), it is however a chance to pick up bunches of presentation.”
The last piece of the content didn’t sit well with creatives particularly who have been battling to get paid for their work and for organizations to quit guaranteeing to give them “presentation” to team up.

In the past few years, Sarkodie has boycotted events for what he says is the inability of the companies to pay him what he asked for. He claimed then that he was doing it for the artistes to be respected and given their right due.
